Code No. C2246 SAS calibration not completed
OPERATION
The clearance warning control unit sets diagnosis code No. C2246 when it receives a "Calibration incomplete (neutral position not learned)" signal from the steering wheel sensor.
TROUBLE JUDGEMENT
The condition below is satisfied:
- The ECU receives the signal, which informs of an incomplete initialisation, from the steering wheel sensor.
PROBABLE CAUSES
- Incomplete calibration of the steering wheel sensor
- Malfunction of steering wheel sensor (incorporated in column switch assembly)
- Malfunction of clearance warning control unit
DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE
1. M.U.T.-IIISE CAN bus diagnostics.
2. Calibrate the steering wheel sensor (teach-in a neutral position) (Refer to GROUP 35C - On-vehicle service 
). 3. Check whether the diagnosis code is set again.
