When the ETACS-ECU of vehicles without KOS is replaced, the ignition key encrypted code and the tyre pressure sensor ID of the tyre pressure monitoring system must be registered (if the encrypted code is not registered, the engine cannot be started). For the details of code registration procedure, refer to the ID registration procedure manual.
When the ETACS-ECU is replaced, chassis number writing and coding must be performed. When diagnosis code No.B1761 "Chassis No. not programmed" or No.B222C "Coding not completed" is set in the ETACS-ECU, diagnose each diagnosis code.
When the ETACS-ECU is replaced, initialise the ETACS-ECU (headlamp automatic levelling system) using M.U.T.-IIISE (Refer to ).
