Code No.B1E16 Low Beam Lamp(LH) deactivated (FET failure)

DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION
Diagnosis code No. B1E16 will be set when the headlamp (Low-beam) (LH) control circuit in the ETACS-ECU fails.
JUDGEMENT CRITERIA
Diagnosis code No. B1E16 will be set when the ETACS-ECU detects a short to earth in its headlamp (Low-beam) (LH) control circuit.
PROBABLE CAUSES
- Headlamp (Low-beam) (LH) control circuit fails
- Malfunction of the ETACS-ECU
DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE
M.U.T.-IIISE diagnosis code
Check if the diagnosis code No. B1E12 is set to the ETACS-ECU.Is the diagnosis code set?
Carry out the troubleshooting for diagnosis code No. B1E12. On completion, replace the ETACS-ECU when it has not been replaced as the troubleshooting process for diagnosis code No. B1E12. This is because diagnosis code No. B1E16 cannot be erased.
Replace the ETACS-ECU.
