DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION
When the LDW-ECU has never initialised or fails to initialise its rain sensor, it will set diagnosis code No. B1952.

This diagnosis code may be also set if the LDW camera is not installed correctly. Prior to the diagnosis, check whether the camera is installed correctly.

JUDGEMENT CRITERIA
When the LDW-ECU has never initialised or fails to initialise its rain sensor, it will determine that the system is defective.
PROBABLE CAUSES
- The LDW camera not initialised
- Faults on the windshield glass (such as scratch, cracks, contamination or drain drops on the glass surface)
- The LDW camera incorrectly installed
- Malfunction of the LDW-ECU (rain sensor)
DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE
STEP 1. Check the camera mounted surface on the windshield.
Visually check the LDW camera mounted surface on the windshield for scratch, cracks, contamination or drain drops.

STEP 2. Check whether the diagnosis code is set again.
Check if diagnosis code No. B1952 is set in the LDW-ECU.

(2)Turn the ignition switch from the LOCK (OFF) position to the ON position.

(3)Check if the diagnosis code is set.
