GENERAL INFORMATION
ETACS*1-ECU has two main functions (coding function and
body electrical equipment control function). The ETACS-ECU is connected via CAN*2 communication
and LIN*3 communication.

FUNCTION
CODING FUNCTION
By writing the coding data such as vehicle model, destination, and equipment level to
ECUs, the functions of ECUs can be changed. There are two types of coding method, the local
coding and global coding.
BODY ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT CONTROL FUNCTION
This function controls the following electrical equipment.
