Code No.P2773: Transfer 4WD low switch system (Short circuit) <4WD>


DIAGNOSIS CODE SET CONDITIONS


When the actual transfer gear ratio remains high for at least 10 seconds with the transfer 4WD low switch ON, diagnosis code No. P2773 will be set.

PROBABLE CAUSES



DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE

STEP 1. M.U.T.-III other system diagnosis codes
Check whether the transfer system diagnosis codes are set or not.

Q. Is the diagnosis code set?
YES : Diagnose the transfer system (Refer to GROUP 22A - Troubleshooting).
Go to Step 2.

STEP 2. Erase the diagnosis code, and drive the vehicle for a while.
Road test the vehicle at 54 km/h or more, and check that no diagnosis code is set.

Q. Is diagnosis code No.P2773 set?
Replace the A/T-ECU.
The procedure is complete.
