Removal and Installation

 
 REMOVAL

    1.Remove tire with power tool.
    2.Remove rear diffuser. Refer to Exploded View.
    3.Set suitable jack under rear suspension member.
    4.Loosen rear suspension member mounting nuts, and gradually lower jack to rear suspension member.
    ■ CAUTION ■
    Never remove rear suspension member mounting bolts and nuts.
    5.Remove radius rod.
 
 INSTALLATION

Note the following, and install in the reverse order of removal.
  • Perform final tightening of bolts and nuts at the vehicle installation position (rubber bushing), under unladen conditions with tires on level ground.

Inspection

 
 INSPECTION AFTER REMOVAL

Check radius rod and bushing for any deformation, cracks and damage. Replace it if necessary.
 
 INSPECTION AFTER INSTALLATION

    1.Check wheel alignment. Refer to Inspection.
    2.Adjust neutral position of steering angle sensor. Refer to Special Repair Requirement (GT-R certified NISSAN dealer).
