BRAKE WARNING LAMP

Check that the lamp illuminates for approximately 2 seconds after the ignition switch is turned ON.

YES>>GO TO 2.

NO>>Proceed to diagnosis procedure. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure (GT-R certified NISSAN dealer).

Check that the brake warning lamp in the combination meter turns ON/OFF correctly when operating the parking brake pedal.

YES>>INSPECTION END

NO>>Check parking brake switch. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

Check that the brake warning lamp in the combination meter turns ON/OFF correctly when operating the parking brake pedal.

YES>>GO TO 2.

NO>>Check parking brake switch. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

Perform ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) self-diagnosis.

YES>>GO TO 3.

NO>>Check items displayed by self-diagnosis.

Check if the indication and operation of combination meter are normal. Refer to Diagnosis Description.

YES>>INSPECTION END

NO>>Repair or replace combination meter.

After replacing an ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit), be sure to perform the following procedure.

• Steering angle sensor adjustment: Refer to Description (GT-R certified NISSAN dealer).
• Decel G sensor calibration: Refer to Description (GT-R certified NISSAN dealer).
• Pressure sensor calibration: Refer to Description (GT-R certified NISSAN dealer).
• Valve calibration: Refer to Description (GT-R certified NISSAN dealer).
