VDC OFF INDICATOR LAMP

Check that the lamp illuminates for approximately 2 second after the ignition switch is turned ON.

YES>>GO TO 2.

NO>>Check combination meter. Refer to Diagnosis Description.

Check that the VDC OFF indicator lamp in the combination meter turns ON/OFF correctly when changing the mode to OFF mode with the set-up switch (VDC).

YES>>INSPECTION END

NO>>Check VDC OFF switch. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure (GT-R certified NISSAN dealer).

Check that the VDC OFF indicator lamp in the combination meter turns ON/OFF correctly when changing the mode to OFF mode with the set-up switch (VDC).

YES>>GO TO 2.

NO>>Replace the set-up switch (VDC).

Perform self-diagnosis of ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit).

YES>>GO TO 3.

NO>>Perform inspection according to the displayed items.

Check that the VDC OFF indicator lamp in the combination meter turns ON/OFF correctly when changing the mode to OFF mode with the set-up switch (VDC).

YES>>Replace ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit). Refer to Exploded View (GT-R certified NISSAN dealer).

NO>>Check the combination meter. Refer to Diagnosis Description.

After replacing an ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit), be sure to perform the following procedure.

• Steering angle sensor adjustment: Refer to Description (GT-R certified NISSAN dealer).
• Decel G sensor calibration: Refer to Description (GT-R certified NISSAN dealer).
• Pressure sensor calibration: Refer to Description (GT-R certified NISSAN dealer).
• Valve calibration: Refer to Description (GT-R certified NISSAN dealer).
