STEERING SWITCH SIGNAL GND CIRCUIT

1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect AV control unit and spiral cable connector.
3. Check for continuity between AV control unit harness connector terminal 15 and spiral cable connector terminal 33.

YES>>GO TO 2.

NO>>Repair the harnesses or connectors.

Check the spiral cable.

YES>>GO TO 3.

NO>>Replace the spiral cable.

Check the steering switch. Refer to Component Inspection.

YES>>GO TO 4.

NO>>Replace the steering switch.

1. Connect AV control unit connector.
2. Check for continuity between AV control unit harness connector terminal 15 and ground.

YES>>The steering switch ground circuit is normal.

NO>>Replace the AV control unit.
