Diagnosis Procedure
Description
BCM requests IPDM E/R to supply power to steering lock unit. After receiving the power, the steering lock unit transmits an ON signal to BCM.

BCM detects a mismatch between the power supplied to the steering lock unit and the feedback for one second or more.

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1.PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
Press the push-button ignition switch under the following conditions and wait for at least 1 second.
Shift lever is in the P or N position.
Do not depress brake pedal.
Check “Self diagnostic result” with CONSULT-III.
Is DTC detected?
YES

Diagnosis Procedure
1.INSPECTION START
Turn ignition switch ON.
Check “Self diagnostic result” with CONSULT-III.
Touch “ERASE”.
Perform DTC Confirmation Procedure.
