1.OBTAIN INFORMATION ABOUT SYMPTOM
Interview the customer to obtain as much information as possible about the conditions and environment under which the malfunction occurred.

2.CHECK SYMPTOM
Check the symptom based on the information obtained from the customer.
Check if any other malfunctions are present.

3.CHECK SELF-DIAGNOSIS MODE OPERATION
Check that the self-diagnosis mode function operates. Refer to
Diagnosis Description

Does the self-diagnosis mode activate normally?
YES

GO TO 4.
NO

4.CHECK CONSULT‐III SELF-DIAGNOSIS RESULTS
Connect CONSULT‐III, and perform “Self Diagnostic Result”. Refer to
CONSULT-III Function (METER/M&A)

Are self diagnostic result normal?
YES

GO TO 5.
NO

Repair or replace the malfunctioning part and
go to 7

5.NARROWING DOWN OF MALFUNCTIONING PARTS BY SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS
Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts based on the symptom diagnosis.

6.CHECK COMBINATION METER POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUITS
Check combination meter power supply and ground circuits. Refer to
Diagnosis Procedure

Is the inspection result normal?
YES

Replace the combination meter, then

Repair or replace malfunctioning part and

7.FINAL CHECK
Check that the combination meter operates normally.
