Check 10A fuse [No. 3, located in the fuse block (J/B)].

YES

GO TO 2

Replace the fuse after repairing the applicable circuit.
2.CHECK ECV (ELECTRIC CONTROL VALVE) POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
Disconnect the compressor (ECV) connector.
Turn the ignition switch ON.
Check voltage between compressor (ECV) harness connector and ground.

Repair the harnesses or connectors.
3.CHECK ECV CONTROL SIGNAL
With CONSULT-III
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Connect the compressor (ECV) connector.
Perform the “HVAC TEST”: MODE 5 of HVAC active test mode.
Check output waveform between the A/C auto amp. harness connector and ground with the oscilloscope.

4.CHECK CONTINUITY BETWEEN ECV AND A/C AUTO AMP.
Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect the compressor (ECV) connector.
Disconnect the A/C auto amp. connector.
Check continuity between compressor (ECV) harness connector and A/C auto amp. harness connector.
