To remove the oil pan, it is not necessary that the engine be removed from
the vehicle.

- Remove the drain plug and drain the oil from the engine.
- Remove the attaching bolts which hold the oil pan to the bottom of the crankcase,
and remove the oil pan.

- Remove the oil pan gasket and clean the mating surfaces of the oil pan and
the crankcase.
- Install in the reverse order of removal using a new gasket. Tighten the
bolts until snug
