Rear Window Wiper Blade and Arm
REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
NOTE: Refer to Section 1 for wiper blade and rubber insert removal and installation.

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Pull the wiper arm upward slightly, and depress the clip at the base to remove the retainer nut cover.
Paint an alignment mark on the linkage or motor stud and wiper arm. Loosen and remove the wiper arm retainer nut.
Apply upward pressure to remove the wiper arm.
To install:
Place the wiper arm in position on the stud aligning the painted marks. Install the retainer nut, and tighten to 65 inch lbs. (7 Nm).
Install the retainer nut cover.
Connect the negative battery cable.
Test the wipers for proper wiper arm alignment and smooth operation.

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Use a suitable prytool to remove the wiper arm retainer nut cover at the base of the wiper arm assembly, if equipped.
Paint an alignment mark on the linkage or motor stud and wiper arm. Loosen and remove the wiper arm retainer nut.
Apply upward pressure to remove the wiper arm.
To install:
Place the wiper arm in position on the stud aligning the painted marks. Install the retainer nut, and tighten to 65 inch lbs. (7 Nm).
Install the retainer nut cover.
Connect the negative battery cable.
Test the wipers for proper wiper arm alignment and smooth operation.
