removal and installation.

- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- On some models the hood may need to be raised and supported.
- Use a suitable prytool to remove the wiper arm retainer nut cover at the
base of the wiper arm assembly.
- Paint an alignment mark on the linkage or motor stud and wiper arm. Loosen
and remove the wiper arm retainer nut.
- Apply upward pressure to remove the wiper arm.
To install:
- Place the wiper arm in position on the stud aligning the painted marks.
Install the retainer nut, and tighten to 65 inch lbs. (7 Nm).
- Install the retainer nut cover. Close the hood if raised and supported.
- Connect the negative battery cable.
- Test the wipers for proper wiper arm alignment and smooth operation.
