ADJUSTMENT

NOTE: The wheel hub bearing assembly is not repairable; it must be replaced when defective.

1. Verify that the wheel bearings operate smoothly.
2. Install a dial indicator to the wheel hub bearing assembly and check the axial end-play; it should be less than 0.0020 in. (0.05mm).
3. If the axial end-play exceeds specifications, the wheel bearing must be replaced.
