- Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions in the beginning
of this section.
- Remove or disconnect the following:
- Wheel assembly
- Stabilizer link
- Ball joint from housing
- Mounting bolts
- Control arm
To install:
- Install or connect the following:
- Control arm to stabilizer. Torque the nut/bolt to 22 ft. lbs. (29 Nm).
- Control arm to crossmember. Torque the nut/bolt to 72 ft. lbs. (98 Nm).
- Control arm to rear mount. Torque the bolts to 181 ft. lbs. (245 Nm).
- Ball joint to housing, Torque the nut to 36 ft. lbs. (49 Nm).
- Wheel assembly
