Fuel Filter

Fig. 1: Be sure to replace any fuel lines that are leaking or showing signs of deterioration

Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions in the beginning of this section.
Locate the fuel filter in the engine compartment on the left inside fender.
Properly relieve the fuel system pressure.
Remove or disconnect the following:
- Negative battery cable
- Hose clamp screws and slide the hoses off the filter
- Filter from the bracket
To install:
Inspect the hoses for wear or cracks, and replace if needed.
Install or connect the following:
- New filter into the bracket and tighten the hose clamp screws
- Negative battery cable
Start the engine and check for leaks.
