Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions in the beginning
of this section.
Remove the front wheels.
Remove the brake hose from the caliper body.
Remove the caliper bracket retainer bolts.
Slide the caliper and bracket assembly off the spindle and rotor.
To install:
Compress the piston assembly into the cylinder bore.
Install the caliper bracket to the spindle assembly, and secure in place
with the retainer bolts. Tighten the retainer bolts to 25-33 ft. lbs. (32-43
Nm).
Connect the brake hose using new sealing washers, and tighten the fitting
to 11-15 ft. lbs. (15-21 Nm).
Bleed the brake system. Install the wheels. Check the fluid level in the
master cylinder.

Remove the brake hose from the caliper body.
Remove the caliper bracket retainer bolts.
Slide the caliper and bracket assembly off the rotor.
To install:
Compress the piston assembly into the cylinder bore.
Install the caliper bracket to the spindle assembly, and secure in place
with the retainer bolts. Tighten the retainer bolts to 12-17 ft. lbs. (16-22
Nm).
Connect the brake hose using new sealing washers, and tighten the fitting
to 12-14 ft. lbs. (16-20 Nm).
Bleed the brake system. Install the wheels. Check the fluid level in the
master cylinder.
