Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions at the beginning of this section.
2. Remove or disconnect the following:
   • Battery ground cable
   • Air cleaner case
   • Intercooler (turbo)
   • Air cleaner case stay (non-turbo)

   • Connector and terminal from starter
   • Starter bolts and starter

To Install:

1. Install or connect the following:
   • Starter and mounting bolts to transmission
     1. Torque to: 37 ft. lbs. (50 Nm)
   • Connector and terminal to starter
   • Air cleaner case stay (non-turbo)
   • Air cleaner case
   • Intercooler (turbo)
   • Battery ground cable
