Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions at the beginning of this section.
2. Remove or disconnect the following:
   • Battery ground cable
   • Air intake duct and air cleaner assembly (SOHC Engines)
   • Alternator and drain engine coolant (DOHC Engines)
   • Coolant temp sensor connector
   • Coolant temp sensor

To Install:

1. Install or connect the following:
   • Coolant temp sensor
   • Coolant temp sensor connector
   • Air intake duct and air cleaner assembly (SOHC Engines)
   • Alternator and drain engine coolant (DOHC Engines)
   • Battery ground cable
