Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the precautions at the beginning of this section.
2. Remove or disconnect the following:
   • Battery ground cable
   • Intercooler (turbo vehicles)
   • Throttle position sensor connector
   • Throttle position sensor holding screws
   • Throttle position sensor

To Install:

1. Install or connect the following:
   • Throttle position sensor
   • Throttle position sensor holding screws
     1. Torque to: 1.2 ft. lbs. (1.6 Nm)
   • Throttle position sensor connector
   • Intercooler (turbo vehicles)
   • Battery ground cable

CAUTION
When installing throttle position sensor, adjust to the specified data.
