Work on Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) system or Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) should be performed by qualified service technicians.

When you are performing service on or near the sir components or the sir wiring, you must disable the SIR system. Refer to the manufacture's sir disable/enable procedure. Failure to follow the correct procedure could cause air bag deployment, personal injury, or unnecessary SIR system repairs.
Gauges are serviced with instrument cluster as a unit.
