Removal & Installation

WARNING
Check the EVAP canister for loose carbon before returning the vehicle to service. The EVAP canister may have released carbon particles which cause this part to fail and may cause damage to other components.

To Remove:

1. Drain fuel from fuel tank

   Evap Shut Valve

2. Disconnect or remove the following
   • Fuel filler pipe
   • Evaporation hoses from shut valve
   • Shut valve from fuel filler pipe

To Install:

1. Connect or install the following
   • Shut valve to fuel filler pipe
   • Evaporation hoses to shut valve
   • Fuel filler pipe
2. Fill fuel
