Removal & Installation

NOTE: OBD-II compliant ECM's are sealed to prevent unauthorized tampering with circuits. In some cases the ECM will need to be relished to either update the software or modify a program. This is a procedure that is limited to the vehicle manufacturer.

To Remove:

1. Disconnect or remove the following
   • Ground cable from battery

     ECM Cover

   • Lower inner trim of the passenger side
   • Floor mat of the front passenger seat

     ECM

   • ECM to bracket nuts (A)
   • Clip (B) from the bracket
   • ECM connectors and take out the ECM

To Install:

1. Connect or install the following

   ECM

   • ECM connectors and take out the ECM
   • Clip (B) from the bracket
   • ECM to bracket nuts (A)
   • Floor mat of the front passenger seat

     ECM Cover

   • Lower inner trim of the passenger side
   • Ground cable from battery
