)REPLACEMENT
1. Drain of transmission gear oil (Refer to )
)2. Removal of propeller shaft with center bearing ASSY
(Refer to )

3. Removal of transmission extension housing oil seal (MTM)
(1) Use the SST to remove the transmission extension housing oil seal (MTM).

4. Installation of transmission extension housing oil seal (MTM)
(1) Apply a small amount of manual transmission oil to the lip of a new transmission extension housing oil seal (MTM).
NOTE:
Be sure to use the recommended product or the substitute product for manual transmission oil. (Refer to )

(2) Use the SST to install the transmission extension housing oil seal (MTM).

Standard value
: 0.1 to 1.1 mm {0.00394 to 0.0433 in} (from end face of extension housing)
CAUTION:
·Avoid damage to the lip of the transmission extension housing oil seal (MTM).
·Be careful not to install the transmission extension housing oil seal (MTM) in the wrong direction.
·Do not drive in the transmission extension housing oil seal (MTM) excessively.
·Be careful not to install the transmission extension housing oil seal (MTM) in the wrong direction.
·Do not drive in the transmission extension housing oil seal (MTM) excessively.
5. Installation of propeller shaft with center bearing ASSY

Thoroughly wipe away the spilled oil.
