COMPONENTS
REMOVAL
1. Disconnection of the battery ground terminal (Refer to )
WARNING:
Airbag and pretensioner system are equipped with backup power supply. Therefore, if any operation is started within 60 seconds after disconnecting the battery ground terminal, the airbag can deploy.
2. REMOVE STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY(See page )
3. REMOVE CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(1) Remove the 4 screws.
(2) Engage the 2 claws and remove the lower steering wheel cover and cruise control main switch assembly.
(3) Disengage the clamp and disconnect the cruise control main switch wire connector.
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(1) Connect the cruise control main switch wire connector to the cruise control main switch assembly.
(2) Set the cruise control main switch assembly to the lower steering wheel cover.
(3) Engage the 2 claws and install the lower steering wheel cover.
(4) Install the 4 screws.
(5) Engage the clamp.

3. Connection of the battery ground terminal

Standard value:
Tightening torque=6.0N·m { 61kgf·cm} {4.43ft·lbf}
