Components Inspection Removal / installation

AIR CONDITIONER
AIR MIX DOOR ACTUATOR
EXPLODED VIEW
REMOVAL
1. Disconnection of the battery ground terminal (Refer to )
2. Removal of instrument side panel LH (Refer to )
3. Removal of instrument panel under cover SUB-ASSY NO.1 (Refer to )
4. Removal of clutch pedal SUB-ASSY (manual transmission model) (RHD model) (Refer to )
5. Removal of air conditioner radiator damper servo SUB-ASSY NO.5 (driver’s seat side)
(1) Disconnect the connector.
(2) Remove the 2 screws and remove air conditioner radiator damper servo SUB-ASSY NO.5.
CAUTION:
When reusing air conditioner radiator damper servo SUB-ASSY NO.5, set the controller position to MAXCOOL on the vehicle before removal and save it for 30 seconds after setting.
6. Removal of console box ASSY (Refer to )
7. Removal of instrument cluster finish panel SUB-ASSY CTR (Refer to )
8. Removal of instrument cluster finish panel garnish NO.1 (Refer to )
9. Removal of instrument cluster finish panel garnish NO.2 (Refer to )
10. Removal of air conditioner control ASSY (Refer to )
11. Removal of the instrument side panel RH (Refer to )
12. Removal of glove compartment door ASSY (Refer to )
13. Removal of instrument panel SUB-ASSY LWR (Refer to )
14. Removal of air conditioner radiator damper servo SUB-ASSY NO.4 (passenger’s seat side)
(1) Disconnect the connector.
(2) Remove the 2 screws and remove air conditioner radiator damper servo SUB-ASSY NO.4.
CAUTION:
When reusing air conditioner radiator damper servo SUB-ASSY NO.4, set the controller position on the vehicle before removal and save it for 30 seconds after setting.
NOTE:
LHD model: Servo motor opening angle 32.42 % position
RHD model: MAX HOT position
INSTALLATION
3. Installation of glove compartment door ASSY (Refer to )
4. Installation of the instrument side panel RH (Refer to )
5. Installation of air conditioner control ASSY (Refer to )
6. Installation of instrument cluster finish panel garnish NO.2 (Refer to )
7. Installation of instrument cluster finish panel garnish NO.1 (Refer to )
8. Installation of instrument cluster finish panel SUB-ASSY CTR (Refer to )
9. Installation of console box ASSY (Refer to )
12. Installation of instrument panel under-cover SUB-ASSY NO.1 (Refer to )
13. Installation of the instrument side panel LH (Refer to )
14. Connection of the battery ground terminal

Standard value:
Tightening torque=6.0N·m { 61kgf·cm} {4.4ft·lbf}
15. Settings when removing/installing battery terminals (Refer to )
UNIT INSPECTION
1. Inspection of air conditioner radiator damper servo SUB-ASSY NO.5 (driver’s seat side) and NO.4 (passenger’s seat side)
