Electric mirror system

(1) Turn the ignition switch to ACC/ON.

(2) With the outer mirror switch ASSY set to L, check that the surface of the mirror moves side to side and up and down properly.

(3) With the outer mirror switch set to R, check that the surface of mirror moves side to side and up and down properly.

(1) Turn the ignition switch to ACC/ON.

(2) When the left and right outer rear view mirror ASSYs are set at driving position, turn the retracting switch to the retracting position and check that the left and right outer rear view mirror ASSYs move to the retracting position.

(3) When the left and right outer rear view mirror ASSYs are set at retracting position, turn the retracting switch to the driving position and check that the left and right outer rear view mirror ASSYs move to the driving position.

(4) When the left and right outer rear view mirror ASSYs are set at driving position, turn the retracting switch to the retracting position by tilting one of the outer rear view mirror ASSY towards the front side of the vehicle by hand and check that the left and right outer rear view mirror ASSYs move to the retracting position.

(5) When the left and right outer rear view mirror ASSYs are set at driving position, turn the retracting switch to the retracting position by tilting one side of outer rear view mirror ASSY towards the retracting position by hand and check that the other side of outer rear view mirror ASSY moves to the retracting position.

(6) When the left and right outer rear view mirror ASSYs are set at retracting position, turn the retracting switch to the driving position by pulling one side of outer rear view mirror ASSY towards the driving position by hand and check that the other side of outer rear view mirror ASSY moves to driving position.

(7) When turning the ignition switch to OFF while the outer rear view mirror ASSY is operating, the outer rear view mirror ASSY stops. Check that outer rear view mirror ASSY restarts when turning the ignition switch to ACC/ON.

(8) Check that stopping the mirror body by hand while the outer rear view mirror ASSY is operating deactivates the outer rear view mirror ASSY and that the outer rear view mirror ASSY operates in opposite direction when switching retracting switch.

(1) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(2) Check that the indicator light illuminates and mirror surface warms up when the rear window defogger switch is pushed.

(3) Make sure the indicator light turns off and the mirror heater operation stops after approx. 15 minutes. However, the indicator light does not turn off when the customize function for window defogger is set to the continuous drive mode.
