Cooling System Draining
Precautions: Precautions for Cooling System · General safety (00)
Before performing the following procedure, observe Precautions for Cooling System:M16A.
1)Remove radiator cap.
2)Insert hose (1) to service holes (2).
NOTE:
To avoid splashing coolant on radiator support member and front bumper lower absorber, use hose as specified below for installing to service hole.
| Outside diameter “a”: | 16 mm (0.63 in.) |
| Inside diameter “b”: | 12 – 14 mm (0.48 – 0.55 in,) |
| Length “c”: | More than 150 mm (5.91 in,) |
3)Drain coolant from radiator drain plug (3).
4)Tighten drain plug securely.
