Cooling System Draining
Precautions: Precautions for Cooling System · General safety (00)
Before performing the following procedure, observe Precautions for Cooling System:K14C.
1)Remove radiator cap.
2)Hoist vehicle and remove engine undercover.
3)Insert hose (1) to service hole.
NOTE:
To avoid splashing coolant on radiator support member and front bumper lower absorber, use hose as specified below for installing to service hole.
| Outside diameter “a”: | 11 mm (0.43 in.) |
| Inside diameter “b”: | 7 – 8 mm (0.28 – 0.31 in,) |
| Length “c”: | More than 450 mm (17.72 in,) |
4)Drain coolant from radiator drain plug (2).
5)Tighten drain plug securely.
