Battery Removal and Installation

Removal
1)Disconnect negative (–) cable (1) at battery (4).
2)Disconnect positive (+) cable (2) at battery.
3)Remove air cleaner suction No.2 pipe (3).
4)Remove retainer.
5)Remove battery.
6)Remove battery tray (1), if necessary.
7)Remove battery bracket (2), if necessary.
Installation
Reverse removal procedure noting the following points.
•Tighten battery cables securely.
•Initialize electrical devices if necessary.
•Initialize electrical devices if necessary.
