Rear Differential Mounting Rear Bracket Removal and Installation

Removal
1)Remove muffler and suspend exhaust center pipe using a rope.
3)Remove rear differential mounting rear bracket bolts (1), and then remove rear differential mounting rear bracket (2).
4)For D16AA-4WD model, remove mass damper (1) from rear differential mounting rear bracket (2), if necessary.
5)Remove rear differential mounting rear bracket bushing(s) as follows, if necessary.
a)Give matchmarks (1) on rear differential mounting rear bracket (2) for reinstallation of its bushing(s).
b)Using special tools and hydraulic press (3), remove bushing(s) (1) from rear differential mounting rear bracket (2).
Installation
1)Install rear differential mounting rear bracket bushing(s) as follows, if removed.
a)Clean bushing hole(s) of rear differential mounting rear bracket.
b)Aligning rubber protrusions (4) of busing with matchmarks (1), place new differential mounting rear bracket bushing(s) (2) on rear differential mounting rear bracket (3) as shown.
c)Using special tools and hydraulic press (3), install new rear differential mounting rear bracket bushing(s) (1) to rear differential mounting rear bracket (2).
2)Install mass damper (1) to rear differential mounting rear bracket (2), if removed.
3)Install rear differential mounting rear bracket (1) to vehicle and tighten its bolts (2) to specified torque.
4)Lower transmission jack.
