Precautions for Disassembly and Reassembly

Sun roof consists of many component parts and the following precautions should be observed when performing disassembly and reassembly. Inappropriate handling will spoil its original performance.
•Check that ignition is “OFF” or battery negative (–) cable is disconnected when operating the sun roof manually.
•Do not disassemble parts except the parts indicated for disassembly.
•After performing misalignment correction or emergency manual movement of motor(s) for sun roof or sunshade, initialize sun roof motors.
•Check sliding rail surfaces for cleanliness and clean the surfaces if any foreign material is present.
•Apply grease to sliding parts of sun roof or sunshade.
WARNING:
•Do not disassemble parts except the parts indicated for disassembly.

WARNING:
During emergency operation of the sun roof motor, the roof may move suddenly and can cause personal injury.
Check that ignition is “OFF” or battery negative (–) cable is disconnected when performing emergency operation of the sun roof motor.
