•Check each part in the order from the top of the following list.

Condition	Possible Cause	Action
“CRUISE”, “LIMIT” or “SET” indicator does not turn ON or OFF	Lighting or blinking MIL	Check DTC.
	Faulty CRUISE (main) switch	Check CRUISE (main) switch.
	Faulty LIMIT switch	Check LIMIT switch.
	Faulty SET/– switch	Check SET/– switch.
	Faulty RES/+ switch	Check RES/+ switch.
	Faulty CANCEL switch	Check CANCEL switch.
	Faulty CPP switch (M/T model)	Check CPP switch.
	Faulty brake light switch	Check brake light switch.
	Faulty wiring or grounding	Repair wiring.
	Faulty combination meter	Check combination meter.
	Faulty ECM	Replace ECM after checking that none of above parts is faulty.
Vehicle speed cannot be set	Faulty CRUISE (main) switch	Check CRUISE (main) switch.
	Faulty LIMIT switch	Check LIMIT switch.
	Faulty SET/– switch	Check SET/– switch.
	Faulty brake light switch	Check brake light switch.
	Faulty CPP switch (M/T model)	Check CPP switch.
	Faulty wiring or grounding	Repair wiring.
	Faulty ECM	Replace ECM after checking that none of above parts is faulty.
Acceleration or deceleration is not available by operating RES/+ or SET/– switch	Faulty RES/+ or SET/– switch	Check RES/+ or SET/– switch.
	Faulty wiring or grounding	Repair wiring.
	Faulty ECM	Replace ECM after checking that none of above parts is faulty.
Maximum speed cannot be changed by operating RES/+ or SET/– switch	Faulty RES/+ or SET/– switch	Check RES/+ or SET/– switch.
	Faulty wiring or grounding	Repair wiring.
	Faulty ECM	Replace ECM after checking that none of above parts is faulty.
Cruise control / speed limiter system cannot be canceled	Faulty CANCEL switch	Check CANCEL switch.
	Faulty brake light switch	Check brake light switch.
	Faulty CPP switch (M/T model)	Check CPP switch.
	Faulty wiring or grounding	Repair wiring.
	Faulty ECM	Replace ECM after checking that none of above parts is faulty.
Cruise control at vehicle speed stored in memory cannot be resumed after cruise control was canceled by means other than CRUISE (main) switch	Faulty RES/+ switch	Check RES/+ switch.
	Faulty wiring or grounding	Repair wiring.
	Faulty ECM	Replace ECM after checking that none of above parts is faulty.
Speed limiter system cannot resume maximum speed stored in memory after the system was canceled by CANCEL switch	Faulty RES/+ switch	Check RES/+ switch.
	Faulty wiring or grounding	Repair wiring.
	Faulty ECM	Replace ECM after checking that none of above parts is faulty.
