Cruise Control Switch Inspection

1)Remove driver air bag (inflator) module. 
2)Disconnect cruise control switch connector (1) from contact coil.
3)Check resistance between “S62-5” and “S62-6” terminals under each condition below.
If check result is not as specified, replace cruise control switch.
If check result is not as specified, replace cruise control switch.
NOTE:
Use diode range of circuit tester when checking terminals “9” and “3”.
Cruise control switch resistance
All switches released (OFF): 3,623 – 3,697 Ω
CRUISE (main) switch (2) pressed (ON): Less than 2.5 Ω
CANCEL switch (3) pressed (ON): 99 – 101 Ω
LIMIT switch (4) pressed (ON): 208 – 212 Ω
SET/– switch (5) pressed (ON): 386 – 394 Ω
RES/+ switch (6) pressed (ON): 772 – 788 Ω
Distance switch (7) pressed (ON): 1,445 – 1,475 Ω
