•Before using scan tool, read its Operator’s Manual to know how to use it.
•When driving under any of the following conditions, TPMS control module may cause the low tire pressure warning light to light up or blink even though Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) operates properly.
—Tire chains are fitted to tires.
—A large amount of snow, ice or mud is attached to the wheels or wheel houses.
—Wheels mounted on the vehicle are not of a genuine type or tires are of other than specified size.
—Tire pressure sensor ID codes for all four tires are not registered in TPMS control module, or a wheel with tire having a tire pressure sensor without its ID registered in TPMS control module is used as a running wheel.
—Vehicle is driven near a place where strong radio wave is emitted.
—Vehicle is driven in rough road or traffic jam.
—A tire is replaced with spare tire.
—Tires are replaced with snow tires.
—Tire pressure is higher than specification.
—Tire pressure sensor(s) installed in tire(s) is not of a genuine type.
—Tire pressure sensor(s) is damaged while replacing tire(s).
—Electromagnetic interference film is attached to window glasses.
—Keyless entry receiver of keyless entry system malfunctions.
—TPMS setting does not match actual tire pressure.
•Clear all DTCs after completing troubleshooting.
