HINT:

When using the intelligent tester, start from *1. When not using the intelligent tester, start from *2.

PROCEDURE

1.

READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR)*1

(a) Connect the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM) to the DLC3.

(b) Check that the light control sensor operates in DATA LIST 2006 MY Land Cruiser [05/2005 -        ]; LIGHTING: LIGHTING SYSTEM: DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST .

CHECK AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR*2

(a) Turn the ignition switch ON and intent tester main switch on.

(b) The value of the illumination rate should change in the following range when the light sensor is put in the light or covered by a hand.

OK:

0.8 to 22.0 ms

HINT:

This is the time to be taken for the light sensor to generate one circle of frequency according to the brightness.
