INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL VVT SENSOR (for Bank 1)

(a) Install the sensor with the bolt.

Torque:

7.5 N·m {76 kgf·cm, 66in·lbf}

(b) Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL VVT SENSOR (for Bank 2)

(a) Install the sensor with the bolt.

Torque:

7.5 N·m {76 kgf·cm, 66in·lbf}

(b) Connect the connector.

3. INSTALL INTAKE MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY

(a) Instal the intake manifold assembly 2006 MY Land Cruiser [05/2005 -        ]; 2UZ-FE INTAKE: VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE: INSTALLATION .

4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

5. ADD ENGINE COOLANT 2006 MY Land Cruiser [05/2005 -        ]; 2UZ-FE COOLING: COOLANT: REPLACEMENT+

6. CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKS

(a) Check for the engine coolant leaks 2006 MY Land Cruiser [05/2005 -        ]; 2UZ-FE COOLING: COOLING SYSTEM: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION .

7. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

(a) Perform initialization 2006 MY Land Cruiser [05/2005 -        ]; INTRODUCTION: REPAIR INSTRUCTION: INITIALIZATION .

NOTICE:

Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
