1. INSPECT IGNITION KEY ILLUMINATION

(a) Check operation of the ignition key illumination.

(1) Apply battery voltage to the ignition key illumination and check operation of the ignition key illumination.

Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1

Battery negative (-) → Terminal 2

Ignition key illumination lights up

If the result is not as specified, replace the key illumination.
