(c) Press the DEF switch and change it to step operation.
(d) Press the DEF switch and check the operation of the air mix damper and the condition of the blower.

CHECK FRONT AIR MIX DAMPER CONTROL SERVOMOTOR |
|
(a) Remove the front air mix servomotor. (b) Connect positive (+) lead to terminal HMOT (3) and negative (-) lead to terminal MCOOL (2) and check the front air mix servomotor. OK: The lever turns smoothly to warm side. (c) Connect positive (+) lead to terminal MCOOL (2) and negative (-) lead to terminal HMOT (3) and check the front air mix servomotor. OK: The lever turns smoothly to cool side. |
