INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL HEATER UNIT

(a) Install the heater unit with the 4 nuts.

(b) Connect the connector.

(c) Install the lower defroster nozzle.

2. INSTALL FRONT COOLING UNIT

3. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL AND REINFORCEMENT

4. CONNECT WATER HOSE

(a) Connect the water hoses to the heater radiator pipes and attach the clips.

HINT:

  • Push the water hose onto the heater radiator pipe to the second ridge on the pipe.
  • Install a hose clip in the position as shown in the illustration.

5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

6. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

(a) Perform initialization 2007 MY Land Cruiser [08/2006 -        ]; INTRODUCTION: REPAIR INSTRUCTION: INITIALIZATION .

NOTICE:

Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

7. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

(a) Check the SRS warning light 2007 MY Land Cruiser [08/2006 -        ]; SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM: AIRBAG SYSTEM: DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM .

8. ADD ENGINE COOLANT 2007 MY Land Cruiser [08/2006 -        ]; 2UZ-FE COOLING: COOLANT: REPLACEMENT+

9. WARM UP ENGINE 2007 MY Land Cruiser [08/2006 -        ]; AIR CONDITIONING: REFRIGERANT: REPLACEMENT+

10. CHECK ENGINE COOLANT FOR LEAKS 2007 MY Land Cruiser [08/2006 -        ]; 2UZ-FE COOLING: COOLING SYSTEM: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION+
