1. REMOVE VALVE LIFTER

  1. Remove the valve lifter and adjusting shim.

    УКАЗАНИЕ:
    Arrange the valve lifters and shims in the correct order.



2. REMOVE INTAKE VALVE

  1. Using SST, compress the spring and remove the 2 retainer locks.

    SST
    09202-70020   (09202-00030)

  1. Remove the spring retainer, spring, valve and spring seat plate washer.

    УКАЗАНИЕ:
    Arrange the valves, springs, spring seat plate washers and spring retainers in the correct order.



3. REMOVE EXHAUST VALVE


    A00K0GQE02

  1. Using SST, compress the spring and remove the 2 retainer locks.

    SST
    09202-70020   (09202-00030)

  1. Remove the spring retainer, spring, valve and spring seat plate washer.

    УКАЗАНИЕ:
    Arrange the valves, springs, spring seat plate washers and spring retainers in the correct order.



4. REMOVE VALVE STEM OIL SEAL

  1. Using needle-nose pliers, remove the oil seals.



5. REMOVE COMBUSTION CHAMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Using SST, remove the 4 combustion chambers and 4 valve seats.

    SST
    09208-48010  

    УКАЗАНИЕ:
    Arrange the combustion chambers and valve seats in the correct order.



6. REMOVE STUD BOLT

ПРИМЕЧАНИЕ:
If a stud bolt is deformed or its threads are damaged, replace it.



7. REMOVE SEMICIRCULAR PLUG

  1. Remove the semicircular plug from the cylinder head.
