1. INSPECT OIL SAFETY VALVE SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Coat the valve with engine oil and check that it falls smoothly into the oil filter bracket by its own weight.

    1. If it does not fall smoothly into the bracket, replace the valve. If necessary, replace the oil filter bracket sub-assembly.



2. INSPECT OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY

  1. Check the oil cooler for damage or clogging.

    1. If necessary, replace the oil cooler assembly.
