1. Move A/C compressor to the side to install generator.
2. Rotate generator and set in place.
3. Loose install lower mounting bolt.
4. Loose install upper mounting bolt.
5. Tighten bolts to GAS 61 N·m (45 ft. lbs.) DIESEL 28 N·m (20.5 ft. lbs.).
6. Install the B+ terminal nut and wire and tighten to GAS 10 N·m (88.5 ins. lbs.) DIESEL 12 N·m (106 ins. lbs.).
7. Plug in the field circuit to the generator.
8. Install idler pulley and tighten bolt.
9. Install the accessory drive belt.
10. Install splash shield.
11. Install lower air dam.
12. Lower vehicle.
13. Connect the negative battery cable.
