INSTALLATION
PRIMARY AND SECONDARY BRAKE TUBES
1. Install the primary or secondary brake tubes to the master cylinder.
2. Install the primary or secondary brake tubes to the HCU.
3. Remove the brake pedal prop rod.
4. Fill and bleed the brake system.
SRT8 REAR HOSE
1. Install the brake hose (3) to the mounting hole (1) at the frame and install the mounting bolt.
2. Install the tube nuts (2) to the brake hose (3) and tighten to 23 N·m (200 in. lbs.) torque.
3. Install the wheel speed sensor wire (4) to the brake hose (3).
4. Install banjo bolt (1) attaching brake hose (2) to caliper (3). Install NEW washers on each side of hose fitting as banjo bolt is placed through banjo fitting. Thread banjo bolt into caliper and tighten to 31 N·m (23 ft. lbs.) torque.
5. Install tire and wheel assembly.
6. Lower vehicle.
7. Remove brake pedal holding tool.
8. Bleed base brake hydraulic system as necessary. (Refer to 5 - BRAKES - STANDARD PROCEDURE)
