HINGE
REMOVAL

1. Remove the door. (Refer to 23 - BODY/DOOR - FRONT/DOOR - REMOVAL)

2. Using a grease pencil or equivalent, mark the location of the door hinges (2 and 3) on the front door.
NOTE: The epoxy bonded washers do not need to be separated from the door hinges. If the washers are removed, the door may need to be readjusted.
3. Remove the four nuts (4) that secure the front door hinges to the door and remove the hinges.
4. If required, remove the washers (1) from the front door hinges.
INSTALLATION

NOTE: A suitable body sealant should be used when removing or moving the hinges.
1. Install the hinges and bolts.
2. Align the hinges to the body using the reference marks made during the removal procedure and tighten the nuts to 31 N·m (23 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the door. (Refer to 23 - BODY/DOOR - FRONT/DOOR - INSTALLATION)
