REMOVAL

LAMP




1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. On vehicles with a diesel engine only, remove the plastic push-in fasteners that secure the forward end of the front wheelhouse splash shield to the front fascia.
(Refer to 23 - BODY/EXTERIOR/WHEELHOUSE SPLASH SHIELD - REMOVAL).
4. On vehicles with a diesel engine only, pull the forward end of the front wheelhouse splash shield away from the front fascia far enough to access the back of the front fog lamp housing on the back of the fascia.
5. Disconnect the wire harness connector (4) from the fog lamp socket (1).
6. Remove the two screws (3) that secure the lamp to the back of the fascia.
7. Remove the lamp from the seat in the face of the front fascia.

BULB

CAUTION: Do not contaminate the bulb glass by touching it with your fingers or by allowing it to contact other oily surfaces. Shortened bulb life will result.




1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.
3. On vehicles with a diesel engine only, remove the plastic push-in fasteners that secure the forward end of the front wheelhouse splash shield to the front fascia.
(Refer to 23 - BODY/EXTERIOR/WHEELHOUSE SPLASH SHIELD - REMOVAL).
4. On vehicles with a diesel engine only, pull the forward end of the front wheelhouse splash shield away from the front fascia far enough to access the back of the front fog lamp housing on the back of the fascia.
5. Disconnect the wire harness connector from the fog lamp socket (1).
6. Firmly grasp the socket on the back of the housing and rotate it (2) counterclockwise about 30 degrees to unlock it.
7. Pull the socket and bulb straight out from the keyed opening in the housing.
8. Pull the base of the bulb straight out of the socket.
