INSTALLATION

BULB - FRONT

CAUTION: Always use the correct bulb size and type for replacement. An incorrect bulb size or type may overheat and cause damage to the lamp, the socket or the lamp wiring.

NOTE: The front reading lamps are integral to the overhead console in the headliner near the windshield.




1. Align the ends of the bulb (2) with the two bulb holders (1) within the overhead console lamp housing.
2. Carefully press the bulb firmly and evenly into the bulb holders until it snaps into place.



3. Position the shield (1) over the lamp reflector (2) and bulb (3) within the lamp housing.
4. Using hand pressure, push both ends of the shield up into the housing to secure it into place.



5. Engage the switch tab (1) on the rearward edge of the lens (2) between the overhead console and the switch plunger.
6. Position the pivots on both forward sides of the lens over the pivot pins in the lamp housing.
7. Using hand pressure over both lens pivots, press upward firmly and evenly until both pivots snap into place.
8. Reconnect the battery negative cable.

BULB - REAR

CAUTION: Always use the correct bulb size and type for replacement. An incorrect bulb size or type may overheat and cause damage to the lamp, the socket or the lamp wiring.

NOTE: The rear reading lamps are integral to the grab handle in the headliner on the inner roof side rail over each outboard rear seating position.




1. Align the base of the bulb (1) with the bulb holder within the rear reading lamp housing.
2. Push the bulb into the holder until the base is fully seated.



3. Insert the large tab on the rearward end of the lamp lens (1) into the rear end of the lamp housing.
4. Using hand pressure, push the small tab at the upper front corner of the lens (2) rearward and inward towards the lamp housing until it snaps into place.
5. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
